According to the Centers for Disease, Control and Prevention (CDC), 43.8 million American adults were cigarette smokers in 2011. Tobacco use is responsible for 1 in 5 deaths in the United States. November is officially Lung Cancer Awareness Month. The goal is to support research that finds a cure and bring attention to the disease.
