The UNC Minority Health Conference is the nation’s largest and longest-running student-lead health conference. Founded in 1977, the Minority Health Conference aims to raise awareness regarding health disparities and mobilize students, academics, researchers, and community members to take action for change. The 2016 theme explores the intersection of public health and social justice. The conference will highlight opportunities for public health researchers and practitioners and social justice advocates to learn from each other and identify best practices for prioritizing minority health and fostering inclusive strategies for change.

This event will include an online lecture webcast from 2-3:30 pm ET (webcast registration link).
