The conference will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Chapel Hill, NC and the Keynote Webcast will be broadcast at 2PM EST followed by a live Q&A session with the keynote speaker. The conference theme this year is “Reclaiming The Narrative”. This year’s theme challenges us to end perpetuating, damaging rhetoric against marginalized communities. It highlights how resilient communities have fought to speak truth to power and refused to have their voices silenced. In addition to keynote speakers and breakout sessions, the 2018 Minority Health Conference will also feature an interactive skill-building workshop for attendees.

The speaker for the keynote lecture will be Monica Raye Simpson, Executive Director of Sistersong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective.
